Panelists for the League of Cincinnati Theatres (LCT) have recognized the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company’s production of Twelfth Night with a 4 Star Rating.

Panelists recommended Twelfth Night, one Shakespeare’s most amusing comedies, as “a very fun production…well-performed and entertaining…hilarious”. The CSC ensemble was praised as a whole for their performances: “a true ensemble work and I thought the entire cast meshed and fit together well.” Heidi Jo Schiemer, costume designer, was also singled out: “The costumes really drew me in from the onset of the first scene. The colors were very vibrant and alive and complemented the direction of the piece very well.”

Twelfth Night continues through December 15th. Tickets can be purchased at

League of Cincinnati Theatre panelists evaluate productions on a 5 star scale and recommend shows at either a 4 star or 5 star level. Nominations for LCT awards will be determined and announced at the end of the season and winners awarded at the annual LCT gala in the spring.
