“Hadestown” is a show I would recommend for a shower of people. If you are a fan of Greek myths, go. If you love the

LCT reviewers share about their favorites–and why. Some times it was spectacle which made it the favorite, sometimes the performances, sometimes the theme, and some times, seeing a well-known story in a new light.

This is Shakespeare that trusts its audience, trusts its actors, and trusts the joy of live theatre to do the rest.

It is not hard to understand why this play has been one of Samantha’s passion projects. Visky’s writing style is lyrical and soothing, even when addressing not-so-soothing topics.
