The production thrives on its absurdity, joyfully subverting the expectations of classic detective narratives. The play invites the audience to laugh at the very conventions
Scenic designer Brian Mehring’s creation of a moving garbage truck on stage is a true highlight, eliciting audible gasps and delighted murmurs from the audience.
Human Race Theater’s production is fast paced, frenetic, quick witted, and a jaw-dropping delight to sink your teeth into.
The gifts that the audience receives are Herzog’s and C. D’Ascenzo’ voices. They are shockingly good! Another fun surprise is Galloway’s voice, energy, humor and dancing.
This is an excellent and faithful production with good singing, acting, dancing and a lot of humor.
Perhaps the most-loved number of the production, is the song “Beauty and The Beast.” Annie Schneider who portrays Mrs. Potts has effortless vocals which lulls audiences to silence as they are completely entranced by this number.
